Lavender Lotion
Creamy lotion made with homegrown calendula infused sweet almond oil. This lotion soothes the mind as it softens the skin. It is the product at our craft fairs that has people coming back to buy. One customer told us that you can “feel the love in the jar.” And it’s true! We love the process of starting with the fresh calendula flowers picked from the gardens- their skin healing resin soaking into our skin as they’re picked. After they’re dried, glass mason jars are filled with the flowers and covered with organic sweet almond oil. After about a month, the oil/ flower mixture is strained and the flowers have turned the oil into a golden, sunshine color. Blending the oil with local beeswax and rose water and aloe Vera/ witch hazel is like alchemy- turning these natural ingredients into food for the skin. This gentle lotion is good for face and body – a luxurious cream that continues to sink into the skin long after it’s applied. It won’t leave a residue- just nourished skin and a soothed soul. Our organic calendula infused sweet almond oil helps soothe dry skin, while the Epsom salts add vital nutrients for the skin. No irritating colorants or chemicals. Each package contains 5 oz of small bath bombs of various shapes including stars, fish, duckies, hearts, butterflies and flowers.
